German language courses

“The boundaries of my language are the boundaries of my world”
Ludwig Wittgenstein

Good German is a precondition for a good career and for social participation.
We offer integration courses and ESF-BAMF “German for work” courses.

A language placement analysis is carried out in an initial interview. Existing resources and skills are also identified. This helps to determine the most appropriate course for potential participants:

The Integration courses take participants up to level B1, and the language course prepares candidates for the “German Test for Immigrants” (Deutschtest für Zuwanderer – DTZ).
In addition, the “Orientation Course” teaches aspects of German culture, history and politics.

The “Vocational German” courses of the ESF-BAMF programme combine German lessons and vocational training with practical experience in the form of an internship in a company.
In the lessons, participants expand their vocabulary, learn idiomatic expressions and acquire the language they need for professional life. The subject lessons focus on career studies, job application training, mathematics and EDP.

Further information (translated into numerous languages) on this can be found on the BAMF website.
